Backstages & Runway

Since January 2024, I have been roaming the backstages of independent designers’ fashion shows for Merde Magazine, seeking out movements, details, and atmospheres that deserve our full attention.

My goal is to capture, through my vision, what Fashion Week is like behind the scenes, in the chaos of the final preparations. It’s in this place, at this moment, where everything comes together. Teams work tirelessly to give the final push to the collection before presenting it to the world.

There is an indescribable energy backstage; everyone gives their best to ensure everything is perfect when the models step onto the runway.

Having experienced this firsthand, I now realize that the feeling I get backstage is something I will seek throughout my life, but will never find anywhere else.

This is the feeling I try to convey through my images.

It is the very essence of fashion.
